SEWANEE, Tenn. --
Cam Bain's 400m PR was the featured result of track and field's venture to the Mountain Laurel Invitational in Sewanee.
Bain, the freshman from Alpharetta, Ga., ran a 55.42 to set a personal best.
In other men's results,
Connor Moffat also competed in the 400m, running a 55.80, while
Max Davis fired a 12.05m (39' 6.5") shot put and
Codey Parrish had a discus toss of 32.00m (105' 0").
Chandler Lines (4:46.43),
Jack Dupree (4:57.48),
Jack Miller (4:57.53),
Jacob Howington (4:57.54),
Anthony Davis (5:18.04),
Grayson Lines (5:18.06),
Jack Woodham (5:18.09) and
Andor Agustsson (5:18.18) also competed in the 1500m.
For the women,
Evangelia Berry (5:34.23),
Lucie Demers (5:34.65),
Sarah Vannoy (5:34.96), Kenzi Stepleton (5:51.30),
Aida Okie (6:09.17),
Claire Mellott (6:09.24), and
Arielle Eklund (7:03.71) ran in the 1500m, while
Josephine Swinburnson (4.48m - 14' 8.5") and
Elie Berndt (4.47m - 14' 8") participated in the long jump.
