NEW ORLEANS, La. -- Covenant men's and women's track and field were named USTFCCA All-Academic team honorees, announced the organization on Monday.
The men earned the award after posting a 3.32 GPA over the year, while the women had a team GPA of 3.71.
To qualify for the USTFCCA All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.10 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, among other qualifiers.
Both squads enjoyed a successful 2026 season, with each team landing third in the CCS Championships. Nine Scots,
Ethan Saiki,
Aidan DeVries,
Alex Burns,
Chandler Lines,
Christian Mortimer,
Emerson Tillery,
Sarah Vannoy,
Evangelia Berry, and
Lucie Demers, were named All-CCS honorees for their efforts.
On top of their athletic excellence, Saiki, Burns, and Berry, along with
Claire Mellott,
Kenzi Stapleton, and
Elie Berndt, were CSC Academic All-District award recipients, and 23 total athletes were named CCS All-Academic student-athletes.
