ATLANTA, Ga -- Covenant golf junior
Drew Silman and freshman
Cole Godwin were selected as All-CCS honorees, announced the conference on Monday.
Silman was named to the All-CCS Second Team, while Godwin earned a berth on the CCS All-Sportsmanship Team.
Silman, the junior from Zachary, La., landed his second All-CCS Second Team honor after another banner year, finishing 79th overall on Clippd, his highest career end-of-season ranking. He averaged a program record 72.2 during the campaign, and earned CCS All-Tournament honors after placing second individually at the CCS Tournament in Dalton.
Godwin, the freshman from Austin, Texas, had himself quite the freshman year, averaging a 75.8, including an excellent third-place 6-over at the CCS Championships, with a final round of 4-under, 68 helping him achieve that milestone. He was named CCS All-Tournament for his efforts.
