ATLANTA, Ga. -- Covenant baseball junior utility man Ezra Finton was named to the All-CCS Sportsmanship Team, announced the conference on Thursday. 

The honor is the first All-CCS honor for Finton during his career.

From Valley Center, Calif., Finton had an excellent campaign in the power department for the Scots in 2026, tying for second in the CCS with seven home runs in his 38 games played.

Overall, Finton hit .252 with 18 extra base hits, slugging .528 and drawing 13 walks and eight hit-by-pitches while splitting time defensively between left field, second base, and third base.

Finton and the Scots will return to action in the 2027 season after falling short of a CCS Tournament bid.
