ATLANTA, Ga. -- Covenant women's tennis freshman Maisie Tanchanpongs earned the CCS Rookie of the Week designation, announced the conference on Tuesday.

The honor is the second such honor for Tanchanpongs this season, and sixth CCS weekly honor overall this season.

Tanchanpongs continued her strong freshman campaign with a perfect 2-0 record in singles and doubles. In singles, she earned identical 6-1, 6-2 victories against Huntingdon and Belhaven, while in doubles, Tanchanpongs secured a 7-5 win at the No. 1 position against Huntingdon and added a default victory against Belhaven.

On the season, Tanchanpongs is 14-3 in singles play and 10-7 in doubles.

Tanchanpongs and the Scots are back in action on Friday for their final regular season match against Asbury on Friday at 12 p.m.
