AMHERST, Va. -- Covenant golf placed 21st at the Sam Snead Invite in Amherst on Monday and Tuesday, hosted by Piedmont.
As a team, the Scots shot a 77-over, 929.
Drew Silman had the best individual score for Covenant, going for a 14-over, 227, but had an excellent 2-under, 69 round two. He had seven birdies overall.
Carson Pruitt was next with his 18-over, 231, carding five birdies, and
Wiley Hickerson followed with a 21-over, 234 and three birdies.
Rounding out the Scots' competitors were
Cole Godwin (24-over, 237) and
Ayden Cordell (35-over, 248), with each recording five birdies.
No. 2 Carnegie-Mellon was the team champion with their 2-over, 854, while David Zhang of the Tartans won the individual side with his 9-under, 204.
