ATLANTA, Ga. -- Covenant women's tennis freshman
Maisie Tanchanpongs landed her second CCS Player of the Week distinction of the season, announced the conference on Tuesday.
In total, the honor is the fourth weekly award for Tanchanpongs this season.
Over the past week of matches, Tanchanpongs, a freshman from Bangkok, Thailand, went 2-0 in singles play, winning 6-0, 6-0 over Agnes Scott's Reese and 6-2, 6-2 over Piedmont's Stallworth.
On top of that, she also, along with doubles partner
Estee Verdery, swept Reese and Cox of Agnes Scott 6-0.
On the season, Tanchanpongs is 10-3 in singles play and 6-7 in doubles.
Tanchanpongs and the Scots return to action at Maryville tomorrow at 3:30 p.m.
