ATLANTA, Ga. -- Covenant women's soccer freshman defender AT Simon secured the CCS Rookie of the Week honor, announced the conference on Tuesday.

The honor is the second of Simon's freshman season.

Simon, from Charlotte, N.C., has continued to make an impression on both ends during her freshman season, as she notched a pair of goals in a 5-0 win over Agnes Scott on Saturday, while playing 158 minutes across two matches on the defensive end.

For the season, Simon leads the Scots in goals with six, while adding an assist, while playing all 90 minutes in eight of her ten matches to lead all Covenant players in minutes played (866). Her six goals are also tied for tops in the conference.

Simon and the Scots will return to the pitch tomorrow when they face Rhodes on Scotland Yard at 4 p.m.
