ATLANTA, Ga. -- Covenant men's basketball senior guard
Logan Patterson was tabbed as the CCS Player of the Week, announced the conference on Monday.
The weekly award is the first for Patterson this season.
Patterson was a key cog in Covenant's offense throughout the week, averaging 19.7 points per game while connecting on 15-of-32 attempts (46.9 percent) from beyond the arc. Patterson also contributed on the defensive end, finishing the week with six rebounds, nine assists, six steals, and one block.
Patterson was particularly excellent in a road win over Bob Jones, where he poured in a season-high 29 points and knocked down several late clutch baskets to help lift the Scots to the victory.
During the year, Patterson is leading Covenant in scoring (15.7 ppg), while shooting 31.9 percent from three.
Patterson and the Scots will be back home at Barnes PE Center on Friday against Asbury.
