ATLANTA, Ga. - The Collegiate Conference of the South released its Men's Golf yearly award winners and All-Conference teams with sophomore
Drew Silman making the cut for the Second Team.
He becomes Covenant's first player in its NCAA Division III era to earn All-Conference distinction. Most recently, Silman picked up the win at the CCS Championship with a 54-hole score of 214 (-2), highlighted by an opening round of 67 (-5). He anchored the Scots to a third-place result on the team leaderboard.
In the 2024-25 season, Silman posted a scoring average of 74.81, which is a school record. He also had six top-five finishes in 10 tournaments, including second-place results at the Coastal Georgia Classic and Chick-Fil-A Invitational. On April 2nd he was tabbed CCS Player of the Week.
Silman will find out next week if he is one of 10 individuals selected to play in the NCAA Division III National Championship, scheduled for May 20-23 at Midvale Country Club and Irondequoit Country Club in Rochester, New York.
