JACKSON, Miss. - Covenant traveled to Belhaven looking to begin the final week of the regular season with a victory. The Scots did that in dominating fashion, taking down the Blazers 7-0.

DOUBLES:

• Lauren Carr and Zoe Giuntoli won in the No. 1 slot, blanking Ally Everett and Lillian Williams 6-0.
• In the No. 2 position, Christina English and Estee Verdery suffered a 3-6 loss to Evey Moore and Millie Gallarno.
• Ora Hall and Caroline Tisdale won by forfeit in the No. 3 ranked match to give Covenant the doubles point.

SINGLES: 

• Carr picked up her second win of the afternoon in the No. 1 position, taking down Everett in straight sets 6-2, 6-2.
• Verdery bounced back from her singles loss, defeating Gallarno 6-4, 6-2 in the No. 2 ranked match.
• In the No. 3 slot, Giuntoli earned her second win of the match, taking down Williams 6-4, 6-4.
• In the No. 4 position, English dominated Khliyah McCaskill-Ford 6-0, 6-0.
• Hall manned the No. 5 slot and defeated Moore 6-2, 6-0.
• Tisdale won the final singles match by forfeit. 

UP NEXT: Covenant has its final regular season game at home tomorrow at 4 p.m. against Agnes Scott.
