ROME, Ga. - On a nice and sunny day for tennis, Covenant continued nonconference play at Berry. However though, the Vikings proved to be too strong as they defeated the Scots 7-0.

DOUBLES:

• Lauren Carr and Zoe Giuntoli lost in the No. 1 position to Sakura Manning and Momoka Manning 3-6.
• Estee Verdery and Katie Cummings suffered a 0-6 defeat to Sydney Cappola and Charlee Eidson in the No. 2 slot. 
• Rounding out doubles for the Scots was Christina English and Sophia Skelton who fell 3-6 to Ella Stevens and Kylee Craig. 

SINGLES:

• Carr took on Olivia Walton in the No. 1 position and fell 2-6, 5-7.
• In the No. 2 slot was Verdery for the Scots as she lost to Carolina Hanson 3-6, 5-7.
• Giuntoli suffered an 0-6, 0-6 defeat to Maggie Cox in the No. 3 ranked match.
• Cummings took on Cappola in the No. 4 position and fell 0-6, 1-6.
• English battled Paige Evans and lost 1-6, 1-6. 
• Skelton lost the final match 0-6, 0-6 to Eidson.
