Box Score 2 KERRVILLE and WILLS POINT, Texas. - After earning a win at TLU, Women's Tennis finished its road trip with two defeats to Schreiner and ETBU .Â

DOUBLES:
- Lauren Carr and Addi Gunyon played a tight match in the No. 1 doubles match against Hannah Reyna and Victoria Morales, and ultimately came through with a tiebreak win 8-7, (12-10).
- Daniella Rodriquez and Mackenzie Griffin gave Macy Matson and Dani Rappuhn a loss in the No. 2 slot with a 4-8 defeat.Â
- Schreiner earned the doubles advantage as Alexis Baker and Angel Traylor lost 5-8 to Katherin Bergeron and Rachel Rompel.
SINGLES:
- A slow first set haunted Carr in the No. 1 slot as she was defeated 0-6, 2-6 by Reyna.
- Gunyon put Covenant on the board with a 6-2, 6-1 win in the No. 2 position over Victoria Morales.Â
- Matson had a strong showing in the No. 3 ranked match, defeating Rodriquez 6-3, 6-0.Â
- After losing 0-6 in the first set, Baker fought hard in the second set, but fell 5-7 to Rompel in the No. 4 position.Â
- Traylor gave Griffin her best shot, but was defeated 4-6, 4-6 in the No. 5 slot.Â
- Rappuhn sent the first set to a tiebreak, but didn't come out on top against Bergeron 6-7 (0-2), 3-6.
Final: Covenant 0, East Texas Baptist 9

DOUBLES:
- Carr and Gunyon put up the best fight in doubles for the Scots, but lost 4-8 to Addy Seward and Monique Ybarra in the No. 1 slot.Â
- In the No. 2 ranked match, Matson and Traylor were upended 3-8 by Jayde Childress and Bailey Smith.
- Baker and Rappuhn took a 1-8 loss to Isabella Duarte and Kristyn Dunn in the final doubles match.Â
SINGLES:
- In her first match in the No. 1 slot this year, Gunyon fell 0-6, 1-6 to Ybarra.
- Carr had a similar fate in the No. 2 position, falling 3-6, 1-6 to Seward.
- Matson put up a good fight in the No. 3 slot, but wasn't quite enough as she lost 4-6, 4-6 to Smith.Â
- In the No. 4 ranked match, Baker took a 0-6, 4-6 loss to Duarte.Â
- Traylor was defeated in the No. 5 slot 0-6, 2-6 by Childress.Â
- Rappuhn lost the final match 1-6, 2-5 to Dunn.Â
