JANUARY 28– This weekend Covenant Track and Field headed to Marietta, Georgia to compete at Life University.
Another solid early meet for the Scots, resulting in several personal records and another school record set by senior
Josiah Mellott.
Josiah Mellott took down a solid feel and ran a 4:27 mile, putting him as the school record holder in the outdoor mile. The previous record was 4:37, beating the time by ten whole seconds. In addition, this was Mellott's first collegiate win.
Freshman sprinter
Campbell Row had another good week, setting a personal record in the 60m dash. Row's time was just .001 away from being a top three school record holder.

Daniel Bowles took second overall in the 800m, out-running several great competitors and finishing only behind a seasoned Senior.
Ethan Caswell gained some momentum for the Scots in the 1000 meter race, moving up well the last lap.
John Purtill set an impressive personal record in the 5k running 17:15, as this was significantly faster than his previous best.
Emma Christensen secured her spot in the finals after improving her 60m time, running a time of 8.50. This will put her as no. 2 in school history for the 60m dash. Christensen then took second overall in the high jump, posting a new personal record of 1.51m.
Lydia Dorman ran a 5:38 mile, a personal best for the junior. Dorman also set the tone for the Distance Medley Relay as the lead off runner. "A strong day for Dorman", head coach

Another runner on the women's side set a personal record in the mile as well.
Kali Hina set her PR time after running 6:57 mile.
