ATLANTA, Ga. --
Sarah Vannoy (Runner of the Week),
Ella Potoshnick (Rookie of the Week), and
Hudson Casto (Rookie of the Week) landed CCS weekly honors, announced the conference on Tuesday.
The awards are the first career cross country weekly honors for each of the athletes.
Vannoy, a sophomore from Woodinville, Wash., started her 2026 campaign by finishing first at Mountainside Stride last Saturday, running a 24:17 in the 6k, which set an initial benchmark.
Potoshnick, a freshman from Glen Ellyn, Ill., made her collegiate debut with a 25:59 in the 6k at Mountainside Stride, coming in seventh overall at the meet to help the women's team take first at the event.
Casto, a freshman from Naples, Fla., started his college running tenure with a 4th place overall finish at Mountainside Stride, running a 20:23 in the 6k to help the men come in second at the meet.
Vannoy, Potoshnick, and Casto return to action on Friday, Sep. 18 at the Southern Showcase in Huntsville, Ala.
