ATLANTA, Ga. -- Covenant cross country athletes Evangelia Berry and Aidan DeVries were announced as CCS Runners to Watch, announced the conference on Thursday.

The nominees for the CCS Runners to Watch were selected by the CCS cross country head coaches.

Berry, a senior from Morgantown, W.Va., has been a two-time All-CCS First Team cross country runner during her career. She has placed fifth and sixth, respectively, in her two CCS Championship meets, and aspires to help the Scots women hoist the CCS trophy for the first time in program history.

DeVries, a senior from Grimsby, Ontario, was an All-CCS Second Team selection in 2025 after finishing 12th in the CCS Championship meet, which helped the Scots win their second men's CCS cross country title in a row. He looks to assist the men in their three-peat bid in 2026.

The Scots get their season started on Saturday with Mountainside Stride, hosted at Woodland Park Baptist Church, in Chattanooga, Tenn. at 9 a.m.
