ATLANTA, Ga. - The Collegiate Conference of the South released its weekly award winners for Men's Soccer on Tuesday with
Sam Conrad tabbed as Rookie of the Week. This is the second time this year the freshman has won this award.
Conrad netted a hat trick in Covenant's 5-0 win at Asbury on Saturday to end the regular season. The win clinched the CCS Regular Season Championship for the Scots and the No. 1 seed in the CCS Tournament. He scored the hat trick in just 51 minutes off the bench.Â
The hat trick is the first by a Covenant player since Jake Major scored three goals in a win at Spalding in 2021.
The Scots return to the field on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at home for the CCS Semifinals against the winner of the Piedmont and LaGrange CCS Quarterfinals match.Â
