BOTETOURT COUNTY, Va. -- The NCCAA softball committee has released the bracket for the 2011 Softball World Series, and the Covenant College Lady Scots will play as the tournament's number 5 seed.  Their first match-up is scheduled for Thursday at 4:00 p.m. against #4 North Greenville University (19-24).  The NGU Crusaders won the NCCAA's South Region tournament last week after defeating Palm Beach Atlantic in a thrilling three game series.

Covenant's second round game will be against either #1 Central Baptist College or #8 Geneva College.  The double-elimination tournament will begin Thursday morning with games scheduled through Saturday.
