Myla Still,
Cassidi Phillips, and
Elizabeth Yother earned Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete distinctions, announced the organization on Wednesday.
The Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete Awards recognize student-athletes who achieve a minimum 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale in the current academic year.
Still, a junior from Thomasville, Ga., collected five hits while scoring six runs for the Scots in 2026, while also swiping three bags. She went 1-for-2 with a double, a run scored, and an RBI against cairn on March 10 to help Covenant earn a win.
Majoring in psychology, this is the first academic award of Still's career.
Phillips, a senior from Odenville, Ala., ended her final campaign with a banner year, hitting .325 with five doubles and 17 RBIs, while also going 6-for-6 in steal attempts. Her 3-for-4 effort with two doubles, a run scored, and an RBI assisted the Scots in a win over Brevard on Feb. 28.
Majoring in elementary education, the honor is the first academic honor for Phillips.
Yother, a freshman from Vestavia Hills, Ala., contributed on both the hitting and pitching sides in her rookie campaign, throwing a CCS-best 131.2 innings with a 3.99 ERA, 102 strikeouts, and two shutout efforts. She also hit .308 at the dish with five RBIs and earned two CCS weekly honors during the season.Â
Majoring in business, the academic award is the first in Yother's career.
