ATLANTA, Ga. -- Covenant cross country athletes Sarah Vannoy and Hudson Casto secured the CCS Runner of the Week and CCS Rookie of the Week, respectively, announced the conference on Monday. 

Vannoy has now been named the CCS Runner of the Week on three occasions in 2026, while Casto is now a three-time CCS Rookie of the Week.

Vannoy, a sophomore from Woodinville, Wash., came in fourth at the Mountain Goat Invitational with her personal best 24:00.3 in the 6k, helping the Scots place second overall at the event.

Casto, a freshman from Naples, Fla., also had a season-best time in his race, running a 26:49.0 in the 8k to place sixth individually and assist the Scots in their third-place team finish.

Vannoy and Casto will be back in action on Saturday, October 17, at the Berry College XC Meeting in Mount Berry, Ga.
