ATLANTA, Ga. -- Covenant golfers Drew Silman and Oliver Bean swept the CCS weekly awards, announced the conference on Wednesday.

Silman collects his second CCS Golfer of the Week honor of the season and fourth overall in his career, while Bean earns his first CCS Rookie of the Week award.

Silman, a senior from Zachary, La., put up a score of even par, 216, at the Jeff Roope Invitational in Springfield, Ohio. That score, along with his 11 birdies, helped the Scots score a 901 (+37), the sixth-best 54-hole score in program history.

Bean, a freshman from Chattanooga, Tenn., posted a score of 12-over, 228, with six birdies, in Springfield, shooting a 77, 76, and 75 in his three rounds to help Covenant place seventh amongst a field of ranked foes.

Silman, Bean, and the Scots will play one more tournament to wrap up their fall season: the Chick-Fil-A Invitational in Rome, Ga. next Monday and Tuesday.
