DECATUR, Ga. – Covenant hit the road on Wednesday night, looking to pick up a CCS win at Agnes Scott. The home side overcame waves of Covenant offensive pressure to keep the game close, but it was the away side that left town with a 2-0 win.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Agnes Scott took its lone shot of the game in the seventh minute, which was saved by Bronwyn Kickasola.  
• Aimee Babb scored her first collegiate goal less than a minute later to put Covenant ahead, connecting with a cross at the back post from Abby Eastes.
• Covenant kept up the attack, forcing the Agnes Scott goalkeeper to make three saves in the next 15 minutes. 
• The Scots continued to create chances, but could not find their second goal before the break. 
• At the half, Covenant had taken 14 shots. 
• After trying to put the match away for 25 minutes, Covenant got its second goal as Adelle Stumbo scored from just outside the box after an Agnes Scott turnover. 

GAME NOTES:

• Covenant moves to 16-1 all-time against Agnes Scott.
• Covenant outshot Agnes Scott 27-1 while having 14 shots on goal. 
• Corner kicks were in Covenant's favor, 8-1. 
• The win marks Covenant's first road win of the 2025 season.
