Huntsville, AL- The Covenant College Lady Scots basketball team claimed a much welcomed victory on Saturday night, riding Erika Forland's 20-point, 12-rebound effort to a 56-46 win over Oakwood University. Milligan Centers Too Tough As Lady Scots Crash to Defeat
February 4, 2010 - 15:48 — covstaffLookout Mountain, GA- Wednesday night did not prove to be a good one for the Covenant College women's basketball team, as they fell to a painful defeat at the hands of the Milligan College Lady Buffaloes. Outplayed and out-muscled for a majority of the game, the Lady Scots had a difficult time coping with Milligan's two centers, Heather Mandela and Alisha Mainer, who combined for 23 points and 22 rebounds. The Lady Buffaloes also shot well from outside the arch, draining 9 three-pointers on the night.
