Huntsville, AL-  Covenant College entered Wednesday's contest hoping to defeat an Oakwood University opponent who entered the game with a 9-9 record, but instead suffered a 76-56 loss to drop its own record to 3-16 on the year.  Indeed, Oakwood proved to be the better team on the night, riding its large home crowd and solid offensive effort to victory, while Covenant, whose leading scorers were Damien Chaney and Zarome Lakey with 10 apiece, stumbled to its 7th consecutive loss.

Lookout Mountain, GA- Milligan's Torian Sitton, Kyle Donahue, and Seymour Cordero were all able to accomplish something in Wednesday night's game that only one Scot, Damien Chaney, was able to, and that was scoring double digits in points.  Indeed, Chaney's 10 point effort was nowhere near enough to propel the Scots to victory, as they slumped to their sixth consecutive defeat in an 80-59 loss to the Milligan College Buffaloes. 

Lookout Mountain, GA- Wednesday night did not prove to be a good one for the Covenant College women's basketball team, as they fell to a painful defeat at the hands of the Milligan College Lady Buffaloes. Outplayed and out-muscled for a majority of the game, the Lady Scots had a difficult time coping with Milligan's two centers, Heather Mandela and Alisha Mainer, who combined for 23 points and 22 rebounds.  The Lady Buffaloes also shot well from outside the arch, draining 9 three-pointers on the night.
