Five Covenant College baseball players were named honorable mentions to the AAC All-Conference Team.

Sophomore catcher Jared Carlson posted a team high batting average of .410 and drove in 27 runs.

Kyria Johnson, Covenant College SR. was Female Co-Champion of Character for 2008-2009  She is a four-year senior soccer player who has served as the team captain this past year.  She graduates with a 3.94 GPA and a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.  A member of the French Club and the Covenant Chorale, she has been active as a volunteer to underprivileged kids and widows in the Chattanooga area and served on a mission team to C

This past year has seen student athletes involved in volunteering not only at the college, but around the community and even internationally. Seven members of Covenant College's Baseball Team have been named to the 2009 AAC All-Academic Team. This is the third time that senior catcher Colby Duckett of Dalton, Georgia has received the honor. Also repeating as All-Academic selections are junior outfielder Thomas O'Ban of Tacoma, Washington and senior catcher Micah Reynolds of Knoxville, Tennessee.
