ATLANTA, Ga. - The Collegiate Conference of the South released its weekly award winners for Cross Country on Monday with Lucie Demers named Rookie of the Week. 

This marks the fourth time the freshman has won this award in her debut season for the Scots.

At the Live in Lou Classic, Demers ran a 23:58.7 in the 6k to finish 119th out of 416 runners. She was also the top finishing Covenant runner for the second meet in a row. 

Demers and the Scots return to competition at the Chattanooga Intercollegiate at Woodland Park on October 17.
