CROSSVILLE, Tenn. -- The Covenant men's golf team wrapped up round two at the Capitol Classic Friday afternoon, coming in eighth place overall out of 11 teams.
The Scots shot a 305 for round one and a 321 for round two, giving them a total score of 626 for the tournament.
Will DeMersseman and Issaac Duncan tied for 25th place having both shot a 155 after all rounds were complete. Over the two days, DeMersseman posted a 74-81 and Duncan shot a 76-79.
Freshman Grant Little tallied a score of 161 (76-85), while Crawford Collett (76-85) and Kenny Duffin (84-78) tied for 38th place with their score of 162.
Four Scots competed as individuals. John Livingston came in 31st place with his score of 159 (79-80). Bo Luff shot a 165 (83-82), while Titus Cooke posted a 169 (87-82). Andrew Barber earned a 171 (85-86).
Tennessee Wesleyan took home the overall victory with their score of 585.
UP NEXT
Covenant will compete next at the Bruins Golf Classic in Anderson, South Carolina. Round one is set to start on September 27.
