Rachel is an important part of a strong senior class that has shown great leadership in the 2012 season. Rachel played for four years at Harpeth High School before coming to Covenant, where she has shown great dedication to soccer and her sisters in Christ.
Her parents are Gene and Ruth Carleton. She has a younger sister, Grace. In her spare time, she enjoys playing music, camping/backpacking, and climbing. Her favorite Bible passage is 2 Corinthians 12:7-10 which says, “...My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."
Rachel is an Economics major with a Community Development minor. After graduating, she would like to do something related with economics, and more specifically work with at-risk kids in the inner city.
