ATLANTA, Ga. - The Collegiate Conference of the South announced its weekly award winners on Wednesday afternoon (delayed by a day because of Labor Day) as
Jackson Bostrom was named Offensive Player of the Week. It is the first time the Atlanta native has won this award.
This comes after the junior forward had one goal and one assist as the Scots went 1-1 in the Sonny Carter Invitational against the stiff competition of Oglethorpe and Emory. His goal against the Stormy Petrels in the 53rd minute proved to be the game-winning goal.Â
Bostrom and his Covenant teammates return to action on Friday night at No. 4 Washington and Lee as they look to take down the Generals for the second year in a row.Â
