ATLANTA, Ga. - Covenant played its second nationally ranked opponent of the 2025 season on Friday night, taking on No. 10 Babson in a neutral-site battle. It ended up being a tale of two halves in the first meeting between the schools that ended in a 2-2 draw.Â

HOW IT HAPPENED:Â
- Covenant scored just over a minute into the game as Daniel Wallis played a long ball over the top that was misjudged by the Babson keeper, which gave Jackson Bostrom an easy tap-in.
- At the 19-minute mark, the Scots doubled their lead as Bostrom headed in his second goal of the match off a corner kick assisted by Henry Parker.Â
- The remainder of the half had less action as Covenant controlled Babson, going into halftime up two goals.Â
- At the intermission, Covenant had outshot Babson 5-4.Â
- The Beavers got their first goal of the night in the 52nd minute as Will Boecher scored directly from a corner kick at the near post.Â
- Babson kept up the pressure, tallying five shots in the next 10 minutes, but only forcing one save.Â
- Whitt Tisdale had shots on goal in the 73rd and 77th minutes of the match, looking to put Covenant back up two; however, both shots were saved.Â
- Babson got the equalizer in the 83rd minute as Connor Hanrahan headed in a loose ball right in front of the goal.Â
- Neither team had a shot on goal the remainder of the night as the time ran out.  Â
GAME NOTES:Â
- Covenant moves to 0-0-1 all-time against Babson.Â
- Babson outshot Covenant 15-9, however each team had seven shots on goal.Â
- Corner kicks were in favor of the Beavers 12-2.Â
- Babson had the higher foul count at 15-9.Â
- Both yellow cards assessed during the match were to Babson.Â
- This is Covenant's second draw against a nationally ranked opponent this season, the other against then-No. 4Â Washington and Lee.Â
