GREENWOOD, Ind. -Â The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released their Academic All-District selections for the 2024-25 Men's Basketball season on Tuesday afternoon with three Covenant players making the cut.
Juniors
Logan Patterson and
Adam Deininger were named to the team while sophomore
Luuk Dusek also earned recognition. This award, nominated by SIDs across the country, recognizes student-athletes who have shown excellence in the classroom and on the court.
This is each of Covenant's three honorees first time being selected as an Academic All-District player.Â
In order to be considered for selection on the Academic All-District Team, you must have excelled in the classroom and on the court. The CSC's requirements are as follows:
- Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically.
- Student-athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA.Â
- Student-athletes must compete in 90% of the institution's games or must start in at least 66% of the games.
Patterson, Deininger, and Dusek now will be considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. After voting is done, CSC will release All-America teams in early April.Â
