LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. - Asbury came into Barnes P.E. Center on top of the CCS Standings, and riding a seven-game winning streak. Covenant dug itself a hole early on and never recovered as Asbury cruised to another league win.Â

FIRST QUARTER:
- Asbury set the tone early, jumping ahead 18-1 in the first eight minutes behind strong defensive play.Â
- A 3-pointer from Abby Slaton and made free throws by Faith Wasden and Abby Witt ended the scoring drought, but Covenant trailed 23-8 after one quarter.Â
 SECOND QUARTER:
- The Eagles started the quarter on a 17-0 run to push their lead to 40-8.Â
- Wasden, Amanda Neff, and Ora Hall scored Covenant's lone six points of the quarter as it trailed 45-14 at the break.Â
 THIRD QUARTER:
- Asbury once again started a quarter on fire, jumping ahead 60-14, thanks to a 15-0 run.Â
- Emma Kaye Fuller and Ora Hall knocked down 3-pointers later in the quarter to give Covenant some scoring.Â
- A layup by the Eagles with three seconds remaining in the quarter put them in front 70-24.Â
 FOURTH QUARTER:
- Cair Canady made a pair of free throws to start the quarter, but Asbury scored the next 19 points to take a 91-26 lead.Â
- A made 3-pointer and jumper for Asbury in the final 90 seconds capped off a 98-31 win.Â
GAME NOTES:Â
- Covenant moves to 0-3 all-time against Asbury.Â
- Hall led Covenant in scoring with seven points.Â
- Covenant was 15.5% (9-58) from the field and 12.9% (4-31) from behind the 3-point line while Asbury was 49.4% (40-81) and 22.2% (4-18) in the same categories.Â
- The Scots committed 32 turnovers while the Eagles had 15.Â
