MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Covenant Men's Tennis team wrapped up the fall portion of its schedule at ITA Regionals, for a chance to compete against some of the top D3 players in the south.Â
In singles, the Scots were led by freshman
Cameron Erb who advanced to the Quarterfinals of the South Regional 3 Draw. In the Round of 16, he defeated Berry's Isaac Nelson 6-4, 6-1, before falling in the next round.Â
In the South Regional B2 Draw,
Graham Hayes picked up a 6-2, 6-3 win over Callum Searle of Oglethorpe before falling in the Round of 16.Â
The duo of
Caleb Domkowski and
Ben Onufrock in the South Regional Main Doubles Draw put up a good fight against Sewanee's Samuel Schroerlucke and Lucas Wrigley. The match went to a tiebreak before the Covenant pair fell 7-8 (4-7). This duo then went to the consolation draw and advanced all the way to the final, with three wins before losing the last match.Â
