DECATUR, Ga. - The Scots returned to the court at Agnes Scott for their conference opener after a long Christmas break. Covenant did not show much rust from the break as it won by 20 points for its third consecutive victory.

FIRST QUARTER:
- Covenant opened up a 6-0 lead with Lucy Benson scoring four early points.
- With 4:50 remaining Cair Canady knocked down a jumper to keep the Scots in front 10-5.
- A triple by Benson and a basket from Emma Kaye Fuller were Covenant's final points of the quarter as it led 17-12.
SECOND QUARTER:
- The Scots held Agnes scoreless for nearly four minutes to begin the quarter as they extended their lead to 21-12.
- An inside basket by Ora Hall extended Covenant's lead to double-digits at 23-13.
- An old-fashioned 3-point play from Cair Canady followed by an inside bucket from Brooklyn Konrad gave Covenant the final five points of the quarter and a 30-16 lead.
THIRD QUARTER:
- A 12-0 scoring run to begin the quarter highlighted by triples from Breezy Savage and Hannah Eidson gave Covenant a commanding 42-16 lead.
- The two sides traded baskets for much of the next few minutes as Amanda Neff scored to make it 48-20
- Hall had the final points of the quarter with 2:15 remaining to keep the Scots ahead 52-24.
FOURTH QUARTER:
- Eidson buried another triple under a minute into the quarter to start it on the right note.
- A 12-1 Agnes Scott run made the score a little less lopsided.
- Hall knocked down Covenant's final shot of the night, a 3-pointer with 27 seconds left.
GAME NOTES:
- Covenant moves to 21-8 all-time against Agnes Scott.
- Abby Witt led Covenant with 14 points and seven rebounds.
- Hall, Canady, and Benson each had nine points for the Scots.
- Covenant was 37.1% (26-70) from the field and 21.7% (5-23) from downtown while Agnes Scott was 28% (14-50) and 11.8% (2-17) in the same categories.
- Covenant dominated the glass, outrebounding Agnes Scott 51-33.
