MACON, Ga. - Less than 24 hours after starting conference play with a road win at Agnes Scott, Covenant had to lace the shoes up once again at Wesleyan. The Scots dominated the Wolves from the start and picked up another CCS win. 

Final: Covenant 75, Wesleyan 29

FIRST QUARTER:

• Covenant got to the free throw line early, scoring seven of its first nine from the line as it led 9-2. 
• Lucy Benson buried Covenant's first triple of the game with 5:25 left in the quarter to push its lead to double digits at 12-2. 
• The Scots lead was now 17-4 as Breezy Savage scored inside the paint. 
• Wesleyan knocked down a pair of free throws with 29 seconds remaining to cut the Covenant lead to 18-9. 

 SECOND QUARTER:

• Capped off by a 3-pointer from Savage, the Scots opened the second quarter on a 13-0 run to move up 31-9. 
• A 3-pointer with 1:26 remaining by the Wolves ended their long scoring drought as they trailed 36-13 at the break. 

 THIRD QUARTER:

• Benson and Savage scored Covenant's first four points of the quarter as it pushed its lead to 40-15.
• With the help of four points from Abby Witt, the Scots scored six consecutive points to put the score at 46-17. 
• In the final 3:23 of the quarter, Covenant went on an 11-0 run and now led 57-19. 

 FOURTH QUARTER:

• After both teams went scoreless for nearly two minutes, Hannah Eidson knocked down a triple for Covenant. 
• Abby Slaton buried a pair of 3-pointers on consecutive possessions for the Scots as it pushed their lead to 72-23. 
• Alyssa Freeman got in on the fun with another made 3-pointer for Covenant with 1:05 remaining as it took home the 75-29 win. 

GAME NOTES: 

• Covenant moves to 21-3 all-time against Wesleyan.
• Savage had a game-high 18 points on 6-of-14 shooting. 
• Benson and Slaton each tallied nine points for the Scots.
• Covenant was 48% (24-50) from the field and 40.9% (9-22) from behind the 3-point line while Wesleyan was 20% (9-45) and 11.1 % (1-9) in the same categories. 
• The Scots outrebounded the Wolves 36-24. 
• Covenant has won four games in a row, its consecutive wins since the 2020-21 season.
