LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. - Covenant played in its first home tri-match on Saturday and took care of business. With wins over Huntingdon and Agnes Scott, Covenant earned its first two conference victories.Â

FIRST SET:
- The Scots raced out to a 9-3 lead behind two kills from Kayley Shanfelt and Hannah Mathis.
- The Covenant lead reached double-digits at 16-6 after a kill from Kelsey Carman.
- Huntingdon cut into the lead to seven points, but a couple of errors by the Hawks ended the set at 25-17.
SECOND SET:
- Three service aces in a row highlighted an 8-0 run for Huntingdon to put it ahead 13-5.
- The Scots responded with a 9-0 run on Shanfelt's service rotation that tied the set again at 22.
- Covenant fought off a match point, but an attack error eventually gave Huntingdon the set at 26-24.
THIRD SET:Â
- Behind two service aces from Sandhoff, Covenant went in front 6-1.
- Covenant kept pouring it on as kills from Scarlett Martz and Sandhoff made it 15-6.
- On Annissa Snyder's service rotation, the Scots scored the next nine points to take set the 25-6.
FOURTH SET:Â
- Four attack errors by the Hawks helped put the Scots in the lead early at 7-3.
- A 6-0 run for Covenant midway through the set on Kennedy Barber's service rotation made it 17-9.
- Sandhoff capped off the win with a service ace to end the match and the set at 25-15.
GAME NOTES:
- Covenant moves to 25-8 all-time against Huntingdon.Â
- Barber posted a double-double with 33 assists and 10 digs.Â
- Carman with 12 and Sandhoff with 11 were both in double-figures in kills.
- Mantis tallied eight kills and seven total blocks.
- Jennings totaled 24 digs to lead the Scots' defense.

FIRST SET:
- Covenant drew some cushion at 10-5 after a 4-0 run.
- A service ace by Snyder extended the lead to 15-8.
- Another service ace, this one by Sarah Jennings, capped off a 5-0 run to end the set at 25-16.
SECOND SET:
- Three kills by Carman ignited Covenant to score the first four points.
- After trading points, a 6-0 run for Covenant extended its lead to 21-10.
- Mathis got the final kill to end the set at 25-11.
THIRD SET:Â
- The Scots scored three consecutive points to start the set.
- Agnes Scott battled to tie it back at 16.
- A 4-0 Agnes Scott run gave it the lead late at 21-18.
- Covenant scored the final four points with the help of kills from Sandhoff and AnaClara Maik to narrowly win 25-23.
GAME NOTES:
- Covenant moves to 30-0 all-time against Agnes Scott.Â
- With 13 kills, Mathis led the Scots offense.Â
- Barber led Covenant in assists with 18.
- Jennings posted 16 digs in defense.Â
