ATLANTA, Ga. - Covenant began a four-game road stand at Oglethorpe. In a well-pitched game that went to extra innings, the Stormy Petrels picked up the walk-off victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Covenant had a runner on base in the first and second innings, however both threats ended in a ground-ball double play.
- Oglethorpe opened the scoring in the third inning as Trey Kinnan scored on a wild pitch.
- Kenny Mills put the Scots in front in the sixth inning with a 2-RBI double to center field that scored Zeke Gilbert and Harrison Adelgren.
- Later in the frame, Mills scored on an infield error to put Covenant ahead 3-1.
- A throwing error that scored a run followed by a RBI single from Sam Mills tied the game back up at three in the sixth inning.
- With the game still tied in the ninth inning, Covenant had two runners on, but a strikeout ended the scoring opportunity.
- The Scots didn't put any runners on base in the 10th and 11th innings.
- Kinnan ended the game with a walk-off squeeze bunt for the Petrels that scored the runner on third in the 11th inning.
GAME NOTES:
- Covenant drops to 9-11 all-time against Oglethorpe.
- Gilbert (2-for-5, R) and Mills (2-for-5, 2 RBI, R) led the Scots offensively.
- Covenant outhit Oglethorpe 8-7.
- Oglethorpe had three errors while Covenant had one.
- Mills started the game on the mound (2 IP, 1 H) while RHP Jake Schock (2 IP, 1 ER, 2 BB, 1 K), RHP Isaac Leicht (2.2 IP, 1 H, 2 K), and RHP Jonathan Glover (2 IP, 4 K, 1 BB) all threw well out of the pen.
