JACKSON, Miss. - Covenant hit the road to Belhaven, looking to complete the season sweep of the Blazers. Behind a strong-shooting night, the Scots did just that.

Records: Covenant (5-14, 2-8 CCS), Belhaven (6-15, 5-8 CCS)
FIRST QUARTER:
- Highlighted by triples from Lucy Benson and Breezy Savage, Covenant raced out to an 8-1 lead.
- A 13-0 run for the Blazers put them in front 16-10.
- Benson and Savage each hit another 3-pointer to tie the game back up at 16.
- A layup by Megan Rouse put the Scots back in front 18-16 at the end of the quarter.
SECOND QUARTER:
- Rilee Smith got in on the 3-pointer fun to put Covenant ahead 23-16.
- The Scots weren't done as Karis McIntosh and Abby Witt both made a shot from downtown to put the lead at double-digits at 31-20.
- Witt had an old-fashioned 3-point play to give Covenant a 34-20 lead.
- To cap off the quarter, Smith buried her second triple with 37 seconds left to put the Scots up 37-23.
THIRD QUARTER:
- In the opening minutes of the quarter, Rouse knocked down a pair of 3-pointers to keep Covenant ahead 45-27.
- Rouse found success inside as well with a layup to put Covenant up 49-31.
- Belhaven went on a 6-0 run to cut the Covenant lead back to 12 points.
- Smith hit a triple for the Scots to end the run before a layup in the final seconds for Belhaven put the score at 52-39.
FOURTH QUARTER:
- After going scoreless for the first two minutes, Savage knocked down a 3-pointer for Covenant to put the score at 55-41.
- Witt got a jumper to go keep the lead at 59-43 with 6:23 remaining.
- Witt knocked down two more shots in the closing minutes to keep Covenant on the front foot.
- To cap off the win, Emma Kaye Fuller got on the scoresheet with a layup.
GAME NOTES:
- Covenant moves to 3-4 all-time against Belhaven.
- Playing in her hometown, Witt led the Scots with 16 points and five rebounds.
- Savage was just short of a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds.
- Rouse was also in double figures with 12 points, four rebounds, and four assists.
- Covenant shot 39.3% (24-61) from the field and 42.9% (12-28) from three.
- 12 made 3-pointers ties a season high for the Scots.
- The Scots held the Blazers to 26.6% (17-64) shooting
