LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. - In a makeup game after the originally scheduled game was postponed, Covenant hosted Wesleyan. It was a tight contest, but the ball fell Wesleyan's way in the final minutes as it took home the win.Â

FIRST QUARTER:
- A pair of free throws made by Karis McIntosh followed by a layup from Megan Rouse put the Scots ahead 4-0.Â
- Wesleyan rode an 8-0 run to take the lead.Â
- Breezy Savage ended the run with a layup to get the Scots back within two points.Â
- Lucy Benson hit Covenant's first 3-pointer of the night with five seconds remaining to keep it down just two points after one quarter.Â
 SECOND QUARTER:
- Savage gave Covenant back the lead at 14-13 with a triple on its first possession of the quarter.Â
- An inside bucket followed by a 3-pointer by the Wolves gave them back control of the game with a 20-16 lead.Â
- Abby Witt made a layup while being fouled and cashed the free throw to get the Scots back within one point.Â
- A 9-0 run by the Wolves put their lead at double-digits, 29-19.Â
- Covenant scored the next five points before Wesleyan knocked down a triple with seven seconds left to go into halftime up 32-24.Â
 THIRD QUARTER:
- Two 3-pointers for the Wolves in the opening two minutes put them in front 38-26.Â
- Covenant and Wesleyan traded baskets for a couple of possessions before a 7-0 run for Covenant made it a four-point game at 42-38.Â
- Wesleyan scored the final four points of the quarter, all of which were free throws to go up 46-38.Â
 FOURTH QUARTER:
- After Wesleyan scored the first points of the quarter, Covenant responded with a 3-pointer by Amanda Neff to put the score at 48-41.
- A 10-3 run for the Scots, capped off by a triple from McIntosh tied the game back up at 51.Â
- The Wolves responded using six made free throws to anchor an 8-0 run that gave them a 59-51 lead with 1:46 remaining.Â
- On the ensuing offensive possession, Benson made a triple, but that was the final made basket of the evening for the Scots.Â
GAME NOTES:Â
- Covenant drops to 19-3 all-time against Wesleyan.Â
- Witt scored 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting to lead the way for Covenant.
- Also in double figures was Savage with 11 points and five rebounds.Â
- Covenant shot 34.5% (20-58) from the field while Wesleyan shot 42.6% (20-47).Â
- The Wolves had a strong advantage at the free throw line, shooting 68% (17-25) while Covenant was 61.5% (8-13).Â
