  • Eli Honeycutt made a tough save in the 18th minute for Covenant, coming across the goal to keep the match scoreless.
  • Fox Landgren bent one in the right side of the post to give the Scots the lead in the 28th minute. Tisdale earned the assist for the goal.
  • Tisdale had a great opportunity to give Covenant its second goal in the 36th minute, but his shot hit the crossbar.
  • At halftime, the Scots had 11 shots while the Panthers had five.
  • In the opening minutes of the second half, Tisdale had two shots while Zachary Moir had a shot. All three missed the target.
  • The Scots had back-to-back corner kicks early on in period two as well, but could not do anything with the set pieces.
  • Honeycutt made another save, this time at the top of his goal in the 66th minute to keep his team in front.
  • Tisdale found the end of a long ball and dribbled past the goalie on a breakaway which led to a tap in goal in the 82nd minute to kill off the game.
