ATLANTA, Ga. - Covenant played its second game in two days and found a similar result. Taking on Oglethorpe, the Scots battled to a 0-0 draw.Â
INSIDE THE MATCHUP:Â

HOW IT HAPPENED:Â
- Kade Theunissen had the first shot on goal of the game in the fourth minute, but it was saved by the Petrels goalie.
- Knox Gibson had an opportunity to score for the Scots in the 15th minute but flared his shot out to the right.
- On a corner kick in the 36th minute, Jackson Hinson had a shot but missed it out to the left.  Â
- At halftime, the Petrels had eight shots, but only one was on target.Â
- Luke Laughlin had a chance shortly after halftime, but his shot to the right side of the goal was denied by the goalkeeper.Â
- Covenant had three corner kicks in an eight-minute window, but could not find a way to capitalize.Â
- Eli Honeycutt was tested in goal twice in the middle of the second half but was true to both attempts on goal from Oglethorpe.
- In the final minute of the game, Tyler Swinehart had a go at goal, but his shot missed high.Â
GAME NOTES:Â
- Covenant moves to 6-4-2 all-time against Oglethorpe.
- The Scots are unbeaten in their last three matchups with the Petrels.Â
- Covenant had four shots on goal while Oglethorpe had three.Â
- Oglethorpe had seven corner kicks and Covenant had six.Â
- There were two yellow cards assessed late in the game to Oglethorpe players.Â
