LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. - Men's soccer hosted Berry in front of a great crowd at Scotland Yard. The Scots gave the fans a treat, scoring four goals, all assisted by Kade Theunissen, for a big win.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Theunissen and Fox Landgren had the first two shots of the night for Covenant inside the opening 16 minutes, but neither found the back of the net.
- Covenant goalie J.T. Gard made his first save of the evening in the 31st minute on a shot to his bottom right.
- In the 33rd minute, Theunissen took the ball away from the Berry defender and played it to Johnson who put the ball into the left corner of the net to give Covenant a 1-0 lead.
- Ty Morgan had the Scots first shot in the second half, but it went above the crossbar.
- Isaac Vardy leveled the game in the 65th minute with a headed goal off a corner kick.
- Less than a minute later, Fox Landgren headed in a goal from the far post off a corner kick from Theunissen to give Covenant back the lead.
- Luke Laughlin scored the third goal for Covenant in the 80th minute off a set piece pass from Theunissen from just outside the penalty area.
- Josh Crisp got in on the fun with a goal at the far post in the 88th minute after another teasing cross from Theunissen.
GAME NOTES:
- Covenant moves to 16-31-6 all-time against Berry.
- Theunissen tied Josh Brower (8/31/9 vs Southern Virginia) for the school record for most assists in a single match.
- Crisp's late goal was the first of his career.
- Berry had 16 shots with seven on goal while Covenant had 13 shots with eight on goal.
- Gard tallied a career-high six saves.
