LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. - The Women's Soccer team had the first home event of any team this fall, playing under a big crowd at Scotland Yard against Transylvania. The Pioneers used a strong second half to spoil the special night and return to Lexington with the win.Â

HOW IT HAPPENED:Â
- Rachel Wall had Covenant's first big chance of the match after her shot on a breakaway missed to the right in the 22nd minute.Â
- In the 41st minute, the Scots drew a penalty and Annabella Goehring converted to take a 1-0 lead.
- At halftime, Covenant had 12 shots while Transylvania had seven.
- Shortly after the start of the second half, the Pioneers equalized on a goal from Mackenzie Butler.
- Not long after tying the game, Transylvania took the lead in the 55th minute when Erin Heil found the end of a loose ball in the box after a corner kick.Â
- Lila Wiley in her first collegiate game had a one-on-one opportunity immediately after Covenant began trailing, but she flailed her shot out to the right.Â
- Lilia Steen gave Transylvania the crucial third goal in the 68th minute off a pass from Tara Pund.
- Leah Marr tried to get the Scots back to within striking distance but her shot smashed the woodwork in the 89th minute.Â
GAME NOTES:Â
- Covenant drops to 1-4-1 all-time against Transylvania.
- The Scots had 22 shots with 10 on goal and the Pioneers had 13 shots with six on goal.
- Each team had four corner kicks, one leading to a goal for Transylvania.Â
- Transylvania had 10 fouls while Covenant had seven.
- Leilani Brown made three saves in one half of action in the net.
