JACKSON, Miss. - For its final two CCS regular season matches, No. 25 Covenant battled Wesleyan and Belhaven. The Scots swept both teams to finish conference play undefeated. With the win, Covenant set a new program record for most wins in a season with 28.

Records: No. 25 Covenant (27-2, 15-0 CCS), Wesleyan (4-21, 1-16 CCS)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- An 8-0 run for Covenant on Rachel Bartlett's service rotation gave it a 11-6 lead in set one.
- A 10-0 run capped off by three consecutive kills from Kyla Bailey gave the Scots a 23-11 advantage.
- Bartlett assisted a Kalbfleisch kill to give Covenant set one 25-15.
- With three kills early on from Hannah Haerer in set two, the Scots led 8-5.
- Amber Snook had a service ace during a 5-0 run as Covenant had an 18-9 advantage.
- A service error and an attack error by Wesleyan gave the Scots set two 25-13.
- Behind a strong service rotation from Kiersten Hay, Covenant jumped out to a 7-1 lead in set three.
- Kills from Ella Bailey and Kalbfleisch pushed the Scots lead to 18-7.
- Snook assisted back-to-back kills from AnaClara Maik to give Covenant the set at 25-8 and the match.
GAME NOTES:
- Covenant moves to 19-0 all-time against Wesleyan.
- Kalbfleisch had nine kills to lead the Scots offensively.
- Bartlett dished out 14 assists while Snook had 10.
- Hay posted four service aces and five digs.
Game 2 Final: No. 25 Covenant 3, Belhaven 0
Records: No. 25 Covenant (28-2, 16-0 CCS), Belhaven (9-20, 7-9 CCS)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Back-to-back service aces by Kalbfleisch put Covenant ahead 4-1 in set one.
- The Blazers battled back to tie the set at 10, but the Scots responded with a 4-0 run to take a 14-10 lead.
- Covenant scored the last six points of the set, capped off by back-to-back service aces by Sarah Jennings to win 25-15.
- Cali Sandhoff was the first server of set two and led a 4-0 run to start the set.
- Back-to-back attack errors from Belhaven saw Covenant take a 13-7 lead.
- The Scots continued to control the set as they scored the final three points on kills from Kalbfleisch and Haerer plus a service ace from Sandhoff to win set two 25-18.
- Kalbfleisch and Bartlett each had kills early in set three with Covenant leading 5-0.
- A 6-0 scoring run for the Scots gave them a 12-2 advantage.
- The Blazers did not get any closer then eight points for the remainder of the set as the Scots won set three 25-12 and the match.
GAME NOTES:
- Covenant moves to 5-2 all-time against Belhaven.
- Kalbfleisch posted a double-double with 12 digs and 10 kills.
- Bartlett nearly had a double-double as well with 25 assists and nine digs.
- Haerer and Bailey each had nine kills.
UP NEXT: The Scots travel to Sewanee on Wednesday night looking to complete the season sweep of the Tigers. The game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
