LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. - After defeating Berea 1-0 just a week ago to clinch the Regular Season Conference Championship, Covenant welcomed Berea to Scotland Yard for the CCS Semifinals. However, today's result was not near as close, as the Scots cruised to a 6-0 win.

  • Moir netted his second of the day on a left-footed strike from outside the box that curled into the back of the net in the 23rd minute. Gibson was credited with the assist.
  • Ty Morgan hit the goalpost straight from a corner kick while Fox Landgren and Luke Laughlin each had shots immediately after, but none found the back of the net.
  • At halftime, Covenant had outshot Berea 16-3.
  • Tisdale gave the Scots a 4-0 lead in the 59th minute after his left-footed strike was belted into the top-left corner of the goal. William Campbell had the assist with a through ball that played in Tisdale.
  • Gibson scored another goal in the 63rd minute on a left-footed shot on the edge of the box that was assisted by Luke Laughlin
  • Berea was awarded a penalty kick in the 75th minute, but Covenant goalie J.T. Gard saved the ensuing penalty to keep the Mountaineer scoreless.
