LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. - Looking for its second-straight CCS win, Covenant hosted Berea on Senior Night. The Scots honored their four seniors pregame and took care of business on the field by winning 2-0. Â

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Emma Riggs hit the post on a cross from the left side of the field in the 11th minute that fooled the Berea keeper.Â
- Covenant kept up the offensive attack with three corner kicks in the next 10 minutes.Â
- In the 22nd minute, the Scots took the lead with a goal from Rachel Wall after Riggs passed her the ball through two defenders.Â
- Lucy Sandhoff had to make just one save in the first half which came in the 28th minute.
- Tyneisha Herring had two shots on goal for Covenant in the final 15 minutes of the half.Â
- Covenant outshot Berea 14-1 in the opening 45 minutes.Â
- Riggs and Lila Wiley each had a shot for the Scots in the opening few minutes of the second half, as Covenant kept up the offensive pressure.Â
- Four corner kicks and four more shots for Covenant through the 65th minute saw it stay in control, but still leading just 1-0.Â
- After being fouled in the box, Leah Marr on her Senior Night buried home a penalty kick to give Covenant a 2-0 advantage in the 69th minute.Â
- Wiley had a breakaway chance with just the keeper to beat with a few minutes left in the game, but her shot was saved.Â
GAME NOTES:Â
- Covenant moves to 7-0-1 all-time against Berea.
- The Scots outshot Berea 25-5.
- Corner kicks were in favor of Covenant 11-1.
- The Scots have gone three consecutive games without allowing a goal.Â
