ORLANDO, Fla. -- Continued rain in Florida prevented the Covenant men's tennis team from completing its matches on Wednesday. The Scots had started their contest with Trine, but were unable to play to a result.
Covenant (5-4) was also unable to complete its match vs. Hampden-Sydney from Tuesday. The Scots had three matches during the week halted before a team result.
The Scots men trailed 3-0 after doubles to Trine, with a pair of narrow defeats. In singles play, however, the Scots held leads in five flights before the match was suspended.
Austin Dreslinski,
Ethan Gibson, and
Solomon Crouch were all one set up on their opponents.
Due to ITA statistical policies, none of the individual results in the suspended matches will count.
