LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN -- After a 20 day layoff, the Covenant men's basketball team will be back in action on Tuesday, Dec. 30 at home against Sewanee at 2 p.m. Covenant is looking to snap a six-game losing streak.

Covenant (1-7) lost to Sewanee (4-4) 77-64 on the road on Dec. 9. The Scots were defeated 72-59 by No. 9-ranked Emory on Dec. 10 in their last time out.

Both men's and women's basketball teams will begin USA South play this weekend with a trip to southern Virginia. The teams face Ferrum on Friday (men at 5:30, women at 7:30) and Averett on Saturday (men at 4:00, women at 6:00).
