LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN -- The Covenant Scots bounced back from a loss on Wednesday to overwhelm the Huntingdon Hawks with plenty of shots and goals. Covenant took a 4-1 win against the visiting Hawks on Saturday afternoon at Scotland Yard.

The Scots (5-6) started their scoring within in the 29th minute when Covenant forward Tyler Morrison was passed a through ball from Matt Hudnut and found the back corner of the net to make it 1-0. Morrison's goal was his third of the season.

In the 35th minute, the Scots got another goal from Danny Knight when he found the back of the net after receiving a pass from Hudnut with the keeper out beyond the goal. Ian Meredith soon followed with a goal of his own in the 39th minute after dribbling past the keeper and shooting in the back corner putting the Scots up 3-0 before halftime.

The Hawks (3-5-1) managed to put up one score in the 75th minute of the play. Stacy Terry headed in the ball off a corner kick from Robbie Farquhar. Terry's goal makes the score 3-1.

Covenant forward Noah Wiersema scored the final goal of the match off a free kick that made it into the top right corner. Wiersema's goal was his first goal of the season.

The Scots outshot the Hawks 34-9 during the whole match. David Taaffe led the Scots with seven shots and two on goal. Hudnut followed closely with six shots with two shots on goal. Morrison also made five shots with one on goal.

The Scots managed to let every player have playing time against Huntingdon.
