Biography

David returns to the Scots in his sophomore year and continues to play significant minutes in the midfield. Before coming to Covenant, David played high school soccer at Christ Presbyterian Academy where he earned All Mid-State and All-State honors in his junior year.

His parents are Bill and Pauline Taaffe. He has four older siblings: Lynn, Sarah Jane, Gillian, and Sam. In his spare time, David enjoys writing haikus on rainy days and doing push-ups in the Great Hall. One of his favorite Bible verses is Romans 8:28 which says, "And we know that for those who love God all things will work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose."

David is a Spanish major with minors in Education and Community Development. After graduating, he hopes to do missions work in a place where he can teach and be a coach.
