WALESKA, Ga. -- The Lady Scots volleyball had no break after beating Piedmont College on Tuesday night, but it didn't seem to matter as they defeated Reinhardt in three quick games (29-27, 25-17, 25-21) Wednesday night. Though the first game was close, the other two were decisive to end the night. Covenant moves to 13-6 on the season and 4-1 in conference play. Reinhardt drops to 6-15.
Covenant earned kills by Jessie Jakes (13) and Erica Adams (12), with Kait Glass and Emily Stewart both tying with 9. Once again, Kristin Dahlstrand had an amazing night, averaging nearly 12 assists per game (35 total for the match). The whole team contributed to digs, each player earning at least one, but defensive specialist Estes Carlson had an amazing 35. Covenant recorded 9 blocks to Reinhardt's 12.
Kayla Spivey and Candace Turcotte both led Reinhardt's offense earning 9 kills each. Kim McIntyre had 25 assists and Turcotte and Sami Lane tied with 14 digs.
