Lookout Mountain, GA - The Lady Scots held rival Bryan College scoreless on their way to a big conference victory this afternoon. Competing without a number of players, the Lady Scots were still able to improve on their record, winning their fifth game of the season. They were also able to control the tempo of the match, outshooting the Lady Lions 10-7. Junior forward Jenny Carter was able to score the game's lone goal off of a corner kick taken by sophomore defender Caitlin Ezell, helping Covenant improve to 5-3-1 overall and giving them a winning record in the AAC at 2-1-1.

After the win, head coach Mark Duble said, "It was a good win. We were really beat up missing Lydia (Jones), missing Sarah (Williams) and four or five others, but it was a good win."

The Lady Scots will look to maintain the momentum as they go on the road to take on Montreat College this Saturday, October 4th at 3:30 PM in Montreat, NC.
